NO. This Community is exclusive because we are here for TEACHERS ONLY! (Point blank, it's not a "safe teacher space" if your boss shows up.) We definitely want administrators to develop a true interest in further improving their schools based on teacher input and voice; and of course, that's part of why this Community exists. Absolutely! L.I.F.T. the Teachers™ is for K-12 public school teachers, but this includes Pre-K and TK teachers! Welcome!

YES. Instructional coaches are teachers! They may no longer be in the classroom facilitating curriculum, but they are integral teacher members in a school setting. Instructional coaches may be in need of a supportive Community based on personal or professional circumstances, and are also strong communicators in problem-solving round-table discussions in our Community forums and during live coaching calls. Instructional coaches tend to have "been in the saddle a while", and can offer educational knowledge based on years of teaching experience, both to other veteran teachers, and to new teachers who could benefit from that wisdom.

Membership to L.I.F.T. the Teachers™ is voluntary. We aim to keep your membership, identifiable information, and content you share confidential. Your subscription to and involvement with this website is based solely on your decision to join and connect with other teachers online. L.I.F.T. the Teachers™ is an online membership website. Members may be on a free or paid membership which grants access to our online Community and any other products or offers included in the paid-for membership subscription. This site is for teachers who are coping and struggling with being a teacher, or who are searching for new ways to self-reflect on teaching and/or improve professional development at school.

In this organization, Community is our focus.You are part of a group of teachers who seek support and want to provide support. You can interact with other members in a variety of ways including live calls, insider discussions, and chat forums.

NO. This Community is for any K-12 teacher (PreK included), with a spotlight on teachers who are struggling or discouraged in our industry. L.I.F.T. the Teachers™ offers a special New Teacher Roundtable live call on Thursdays because new teachers are at high risk of quitting K-12 education.

All teachers are invited to join this Community. If you feel we're a good fit for you, come on in! We need voices from around the nation! The more teachers who join our Community, the more valuable educational insights and resources we have to share in the process of problem-solving and collaboration, and making waves that challenge the status quo, among numerous other goals that could strengthen us as educators and practitioners.

As a subscribing member, you'll have all the insider advantages! L.I.F.T. the Teachers™ Community Forums are where you can connect 24/7 with other members at this site. You can also join in discussions in our Circles and during live weekly calls. If you choose to subscribe, you'll gain immediate access to the Library Resources page, which is your home page for all things connectivity.

What teachers discuss and share in this Community is entirely up to...the teachers! During live coaching calls, you might be asked questions, you'll have the opportunity to ask questions, and you can provide answers to questions to support other educators educationally. Conversations in live calls are centered on teacher needs and inquiries. This is also true also for our insider Community forums, including discussions and challenges posted there. Teachers may share successes, hardships, questions, and concerns. The goal of this organization is to provide teacher support throughout the process. The educational journey in this Community is up to you!

Group coaching occurs during weekly live calls. Which live calls you attend depends on your needs. You may attend any or all of the live calls. The L.I.F.T. the Teachers™ coaching experience comes from listening and sharing during these live calls. A designated L.I.F.T. coach facilitates these calls, and members are encouraged to participate by asking questions among the group and offering feedback to other members.  

1:1 coaching is a separate offer and is not included in the general membership product offer. To obtain 1:1 coaching, you must purchase this individual offer. Spaces fill up fast, so be sure to book your sessions as early as possible. In this offer you will receive up to three 1:1 coaching session calls with the founder per month. The 1:1 coaching offer is good for one month, and you may continue to purchase the offer subsequently. (A separate coaching contract will be provided to you if you subscribe to 1:1 coaching.)

Mentorship is part of the L.I.F.T. the Teachers™ coaching experience. Members may seek educational guidance, provide educational guidance, or participate on both ends, depending on individual needs.

**Coaches do not provide legal counsel or tell members what to do professionally about any problems shared in group or 1:1 coaching. Coaching services are intended only to bring self-awareness and self-discovery about the teaching process, to promote positive insights and change individually.

NO. Coaching or mentorship are not counseling or therapy. Coaches in this organization are not trained counselors or therapists. Members in this Community may problem-solve by talking through issues and receiving guidance from other teachers who may understand shared predicaments, and can offer educational suggestions and insights about how to cope and/or grow personally as a classroom teacher.

The L.I.F.T. the Teachers™ coaching experience does not and is not designed to replace counseling or therapy. You may choose to use our services to augment your work with a mental health professional, but participation in this organization is not the same as counseling or therapy through a mental health practitioner such as social workers, marriage/family child counselors, psychologists, and psychiatrists. If you are in need of professional help in this regard, we do not provide those services. The purpose of this Community is to provide encouragement and support, educational understanding, and opportunities for personal growth as educators in a membership setting. 

NO. We would love to offer our Masterclasses and Masterminds for state-approved PD credit at some point in the future. Right now, your work through the L.I.F.T. Learning Model is based on a personal desire to learn and grow. We are not yet accredited to provide opportunities for PD clock-hours, credits, or certification towards credential renewals.
